Anonymous asked: How long was it before you could eat, or at least drink, after you got your tongue pierced?how long till the swelling goes down, and till it stops hurting? sorry, im considering getting mine done and no one i know has one.
Answer:
uh well, when I got it pierced the first time I was able to eat the same night(but it wasn’t easy). and the swelling went down after a few days with the help of ice. the actually piercing is the most painful part. and the second time, I ate the next day, drinking was no problem either time.
but i did have a lisp and a little trouble eating the week afterwards. just make sure you eat a lot before you get it done, because everyone’s different. Some people can’t even talk after getting it pierced.
